Our client had a need to integrate their Elucidator® system, a Java-based solution, with a series of legacy devices (particularly a mass spectrometer) via a COM-to-Java bridge. ComfyJ, a Java-COM bridge from TeamDev, helped to successfully integrate Elucidator® system with a wide range of mass spectrometers.

SimpleCenter - a digital media player application from Universal Electronics - required transcoding functionality. As SimpleCenter is a Java-based application, it required an intermediate COM layer in order to communicate with DirectShow components.
